ABOUT
Hill House The Band is a funk-pop group from Boston, Massachusetts. Nine friends from college turned part-time pop-stars, Hill House blends powerhouse vocals with funky horns and a tight rhythm section to deliver infectious energy that gets crowds moving from the first downbeat. Drawing inspiration from groups like Couch, Melt, Ripe, and Sammy Rae & The Friends, the band combines their individual backgrounds in theatre, jazz, and funk to perform soulfully written singles or reimagined hits that easily turn any room into a dance floor.
Since their formation in 2022, Hill House has played shows at venues throughout the northeast, such as Brighton Music Hall, the Middle East’s Club Sonia, Mercury Lounge, Fete Music Hall, Radio Bean, and many more! They also support community events with their music, including Cambridge Crossing (CX) Summer Nights, WaterFire Providence, and First Night Boston. Hill House was also nominated for the New England Music Award’s “Rising Star - Massachusetts” in 2024.
The band’s debut single “Breaking Point” was released in 2024 and shortly after the group embarked on their debut Northeast tour “Home Away from Home”. The band is currently working on recording more of their original music in preparation for the multiple releases during 2026.
